Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful week. I am back home after a long vacation and I can’t wait to share this new post with all of you. In the past few months I have shared several looks, beauty tips and my travel experiences with you. Since I got a very good response and it was something you guys seem to enjoy a lot, I decided to bring back the beauty post.😀
I have mentioned in my previous posts that I am very strict when it comes to beauty products. Since I am back in India and with the hot weather in the horizon, I thought what better time than this to share the skin care product which I am currently using.  It’s Clarins new launch UV Plus Anti Pollution. It’s the perfect City Defence – Anti-UV, Anti-Pollution, Anti-Ageing.  I believe it is designed for life in the city, with an extremely fine, lightweight texture compatible with all skin care and makeup products….to keep Asian women beautiful and well protected in their urban environment.

I am now very conscious of how the sun impacts my skin so, I try to make sure I apply a sunscreen each morning. It’s always the last step before I put on my makeup. As this will protect the skin against sunburns and premature ageing. Air pollution has become increasingly harmful, with a very damaging effect on skin quality. So, Clarins has now gone even further, to offer even higher protection, not just against UV rays but also against the harmful effects of pollution. It makes my skin feel smoother and brighter and you don’t even need that much, just a dab on your fingers and gently massage in circular motions till it gets absorbed. Guys, always remember to first apply : Face Wash first ➡️ Moisturiser then ➡️ followed by Sun Screen and ➡️ lastly Makeup. It’s a great way to start the day and step out of the house. According to skincare experts, there is no such thing as ‘water-proof’. It is ‘water-resistant’.
But, even that isn’t effective due to sweating. Apply sunscreen cream atleast 2-3 times a day.

The answer is – Sunscreen is necessary. As long as your skin is exposed to daylight through your windows at office & home, you need to apply sunscreen to protect you from UVA & UVB rays.

Hello everyone! Today I am going to share this look with you which I styled for Max for their 2015 spring summer collection.

As you guys probably have seen recently I’ve been spending a lot of time away from home. And every time I change a city I have to deal with a different kind of weather. While doing this blog post I have learned to embrace the weather and have some fun with it.😎 It is very important to don a right kind of outfit when the weather is so warm and you are kind of getting hot waves.

I think a bright and beautiful scarf is a perfect choice for such a weather because its 100% cotton, fit for summer and light like a rose petal. It is so classy that it can enhance a dress, t-shirt, top, jacket or even a gown. You know that I am all about finding the perfect statement piece, especially when I am wearing an ensemble that doesn’t show much on colour spectrum.

My second piece from their latest collection is a classic Black Polka dot Shirt. I think black is such a sophisticated shade and a must have in every wardrobe. I say when you can’t decide on what outfit to wear just go for black as it is appropriate for any event.  I have styled this black shirt over a Timeless Shirt Dress which I also picked up from the latest collection of Max Fashion.

I am showing you different ways to wear the timeless Shirt Dress at home and outside. The reason I say timeless is that a Shirt Dress never goes out of style, it just becomes extra popular like this season. So, one way to wear it is buttoned down (it’s kind of like borrowed from a boy 😉) I like to put a belt on it otherwise it gets risky business like Tom Cruise.😛 While there are tons of colour options I went for beige. I think a timeless shirt dress is a staple that every woman should have it in her closet. Here’s how I styled all the pieces…

Meeting In Style

Happy Monday everyone! Since I’m not home very often, the weekend never feels long enough. Weekends are always great when spent with my family. Since it was Mothers day it was nice to spent time with family, friends and especially my Mom. Definitely there should be several more days dedicated to her. 🙂 It’s a brand new week ahead, lots of travelling and there will be lots happening which I can’t wait to share with you all….Exciting time ahead of us and to say the week is going to be busy is an understatement. Three more cities to go! Let’s do this!

Today I am going to share a look which you can don while you are running errands in the first half of the day and have to schedule a meeting while having your breakfast, or while you have scheduled a meeting over a brunch. I like to add little twist and turns while styling my outfits. This look of mine is super minimal and I call it ‘Formal Chic’! I chose this amazing wine colour Wills Lifestyle shirt which is just perfectly bright for a sunny day, paired it with ash colour Mango denims and a cotton silk scarf. Throwing light on my personal style here are my Hush Puppies leather heels. ❤

Denim On Denim

Big Hello to everyone from Sacramento, the capital of California. It’s a beautiful sunny day over here and I still can’t believe it. Somebody pinch me. 😉 Inspite of it I can still feel the chills as it’s quite windy as always. Today I am inspired by the blue colour and you won’t believe I have also rented a blue Mustang car this morning. I am thinking of keeping it for a week as I have a list of cars which I am going to rent till I am here in USA. With the sun shining, I was so happy to be here and its making our visit much more enjoyable. I love wandering the streets because every location feels like a picture perfect place.

I feel the lightweight layers are the best way to style chilly Spring sunsets. I like the idea of mixing the ease of a classic pair of denims with calm colors and a statement jacket. Here I am doing the same. A good pair of jeans is an essential piece of clothing to have because they can be altered for any occasion and be worn with almost everything!  I styled my denims along with a simple stripes top to sum up the look. This look is perfect for any occasion, whether it is a casual day at the office or exploring the streets of a new city. Home Away From Home

Good Morning from yet another hotel room this time in Reno,Nevada. I have to admit that this post is very special for me as I am going to introduce you to my partner in crime who is also my soulmate, his name is Rohit. 🙂 As this is not a fashion post, I couldn’t resist anymore to share this photo of us both sitting here as we are having such a great time here in USA. Since, we travel so much lately it’s important for me to feel comfortable at every hotel we’re staying at. And to be honest I love visiting a new hotel every time even if we visit the same place since it gives me a whole new experience. I noticed that finding a place to stay that will satisfy all of your needs can sometimes be tricky, but if you do then your stay is always that much more enjoyable. After a busy day in Reno, it was great to come back to our hotel room to unwind at the The Silver Legacy Casino & Hotel. It is the perfect luxury boutique hotel whose location is perfect with its endless options for clubbing (slots, table games), dining, and entertainment. The whole place is intimate and has a lot of history attached to it, an interior that is vintage and I would say it has got the best lobby in comparison to other 5star resorts/hotels I have been to. It’s fun to look through everything! Somedays I just didn’t want to leave because I was so nice and cozy! It really felt like a home away from home.

What I especially like about Silver Legacy Hotel & Casino is my Suite Room, it was such a great space. The warm color palette and the vintage feel of our room and great view from the 27th floor was very comforting and I thought it was the perfect spot for some photos.
