Big Hello to everyone from Sacramento, the capital of California. It’s a beautiful sunny day over here and I still can’t believe it. Somebody pinch me. 😉 Inspite of it I can still feel the chills as it’s quite windy as always. Today I am inspired by the blue colour and you won’t believe I have also rented a blue Mustang car this morning. I am thinking of keeping it for a week as I have a list of cars which I am going to rent till I am here in USA. With the sun shining, I was so happy to be here and its making our visit much more enjoyable. I love wandering the streets because every location feels like a picture perfect place.

I feel the lightweight layers are the best way to style chilly Spring sunsets. I like the idea of mixing the ease of a classic pair of denims with calm colors and a statement jacket. Here I am doing the same. A good pair of jeans is an essential piece of clothing to have because they can be altered for any occasion and be worn with almost everything!  I styled my denims along with a simple stripes top to sum up the look. This look is perfect for any occasion, whether it is a casual day at the office or exploring the streets of a new city. What would you wear while exploring a new city?

Home Away From Home

Good Morning from yet another hotel room this time in Reno,Nevada. I have to admit that this post is very special for me as I am going to introduce you to my partner in crime who is also my soulmate, his name is Rohit. 🙂 As this is not a fashion post, I couldn’t resist anymore to share this photo of us both sitting here as we are having such a great time here in USA. Since, we travel so much lately it’s important for me to feel comfortable at every hotel we’re staying at. And to be honest I love visiting a new hotel every time even if we visit the same place since it gives me a whole new experience. I noticed that finding a place to stay that will satisfy all of your needs can sometimes be tricky, but if you do then your stay is always that much more enjoyable. After a busy day in Reno, it was great to come back to our hotel room to unwind at the The Silver Legacy Casino & Hotel. It is the perfect luxury boutique hotel whose location is perfect with its endless options for clubbing (slots, table games), dining, and entertainment. The whole place is intimate and has a lot of history attached to it, an interior that is vintage and I would say it has got the best lobby in comparison to other 5star resorts/hotels I have been to. It’s fun to look through everything! Somedays I just didn’t want to leave because I was so nice and cozy! It really felt like a home away from home.

What I especially like about Silver Legacy Hotel & Casino is my Suite Room, it was such a great space. The warm color palette and the vintage feel of our room and great view from the 27th floor was very comforting and I thought it was the perfect spot for some photos.

A Royal Teal Gown

Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton are expecting their second child, the royal household announced recently. Prince George of Cambridge their first child was born on the July 22 last year. And while we wish the royal couple on their big announcement, we can’t help but swoon over this teal Jenny Packham gown as seen on Kate Middleton, HRH The Duchess of Cambridge. Perfect for a cocktail party and colour is simply beautiful.
